Methamphetamine Use And Victimization At A Glance 1st Quarter 2007

Publication Date:
May 2007

Nearly 60 percent of arrestees that were threatened with a gun in the past 12 months tested positive for methamphetamine and 70 percent of arrestees that reported being robbed in the past year tested positive for methamphetamine. These results suggest that methamphetamine use is not only related to the commission of criminal acts, but it is also related to the likelihood of personal victimization.
